Description
Artistically utilizing single-use plastic bags that would otherwise be discarded, skilled Batonga women in the Pemba and Monze districts of Zambia’s Southern Plateau add graphic motifs to their baskets made from locally harvested palm leaves and wild twigs. Baskets will be similar to the photos shown, but there will be some variation due to the handmade nature of this item.
