Creatively utilizing single-use plastic bags that would otherwise be discarded, skilled Batonga women in the Pemba and Monze districts of Zambia’s Southern Plateau add artistic graphic motifs to their baskets made from locally harvested palm leaves and wild twigs. These baskets elevate any wall display, or use them around the home and garden as well!
