In 2006, a group of women in Asia stepped up and took action against the exploitation of women and girls around their city. None with a jewelry background, but all with a desire to restore hope and bring freedom.
Each week, the Starfish team visits locations and invites exploited women and girls to join them and to experience freedom. Through holistic care programs and life skills training, these women are provided with what they need to establish independence. Further, specialized vocational training helps these individuals develop careers in fields such as design, photography, and accounting.
